Wounded Heart

Wounded Heart

A Poem by Heath Mindy

Remembering the kindness sowed, the love that grows,
Love matters deeply and it clearly shows,
No matter what one goes through,
With love each day is brand new!
A wounded heart
Is in life a part
Of what we all endure during seasons of grief
Then somehow with Love, a new leaf!
Seeing past the devastation, the frustration,
Look at your congregation
All have suffered at some point,
Love is the gift each are to anoint
Pass onto another,
Sister or brother.
Young or old,
You've been told!
A wounded heart needs a fresh start!
Encourage one another,
Every sister and brother!
Leave not one to fall between the cracks,
Help each other to stay straight on the tracks!
Remind your friend, that it is not the end,
There are good works to walk,
Take time a kind word to talk.
Surely something of love to spark,
Light to overcome the dark.
A wounded heart must heal,
Help your friend, beside them, kneel.
