Trust. Something that takes an eternity to build, but so fragile, it could be broken in the blink of an eye.

A Broken Trust

That trust I took years to built,

It was broken in the blink of an eye.

 Years after years,

Of hiding, keeping it bottled up.

That day I told you,

It felt good, free.

I trusted you,

With my life.

You broke that trust,

You made a deep scar in my life.

Who knows how long it’d take to repair my trust,

To heal the scars.

You told everyone,

Like it was no big deal.

It wasn’t.

It shouldn’t be,

Atleast not for you.

But it was something to me.

It was a chaos for my life.

I shouldn’t be blaming it on you though,

Because it really was my fault anyway.

I could have kept it all to myself,

But I chose to tell,

And I’ll take the responsibility for that.
