Love

Love is the force

that ignites the spirit

and binds faith together.

Like a forest fire,

I can smell it,

taste it

and see it from a mile away.

 

Love is colourless,

priceless, and size-less;

the simplest thing I give.

 

Love is inexpressible comfort

of feeling safe with a person

having neither to weigh thoughts

nor measure words.

 

Love is a mirror.

When I smile at it,

it is charming

and when I  frown at it,

it is a sinister.

It is what I see in me

and becoming all that I can be

 

Love is like a beautiful lamp.

If I don't give it an outlet,

the light never shines bright.
