Broken Up

A little poem about a broken relationship NOT A TRUE STORY OF MINE

I thought that I loved you,

But I guess that was not true.

This may seem cruel

But I wasn't going to let you rule

My life.

We were together for not too long 

But oh how I was wrong

To ever go out with you

Because now I feel so blue.

All I want is to go and move on

And get you out of my life

But the only thought on your mind

Is to find yourself a wife!

We are but oh so young

And listen to what rolls off my tongue

I am not ready for commitment

So please just give me some distance!
