TO MY MIRROR N SHADOW

My mirror and Shadow thanks for everything until now
You know me quite well,
Sure I don’t have to tell.
My thoughts make me anxious
You might have guessed!
The circles under my eyes, the lines on my thighs
The prove to be just.

I don’t want to end up simple
Yes, you can tell
I just want to prove to be of help
That I can make an impact
For all the rest.
Like teach what love can do
Or like how speaking out could be true!
Or tell people to stop thinking they are alone
And didn’t need help...

My mirror and my Shadow
You have been the best...
Never laughed when I stressed.
Never laughed when I took rest.
Never rested when I've been my best.
