Said the WindA Poem by MackenzieThis poem is about the wonders of nature and how it is so much more than something to look at - it is to be felt and listened to.
a separate world.
it speaks a language understood only by the presence of a powerful mind and open energy. enlighten me. i listen, empowering you to teach me; to touch my mind; to feel my soul to embrace my energy into your hold. a story of wind tells me how it begins by the voices of souls trapped inside them. she sang soft silences, numbness flew from her lips, sorrowful souls wandered at her wisps. the illusion of a glimpse sank into my eyes gingerly, danced into darker forms of energy as if it were mist created by the morning after a blurry rain. i danced with them; i let them in. i felt them paint in the whirling wind, in every inch of my sinking skin.
the mural was not for eyes to see,
for the wind had painted a wretched, wild scream. a world admired for color and shape is admired by those incapable to escape they are trapped like voices in the wind baring bodies that hold not a piece of skin their souls shall fly with darkened wings; their souls shall paint the wicked screams. their souls shall create a world we feel intensely when our eyes are closed and hearts roam free. © 2017 MackenzieAuthor's Note
