The Dog House

The Dog House

A Poem by midnight reaper

In the dog house, I wait for the king's men to lay their swords
In the dog house, the king's men come to dethrone me
In the dog house, I have been acting bad
Let the king's men build from the ashes of what lays in their wake
In the dog house, murder is forgiven
In the dog house, I have sinned and now pray god to roam in the heavens
In the dog house, only god can judge
In the dog house, men with metal cages protecting their chest and heart arrive at the door of the seldom throne
In the dog house, I prepare my sword as they try to behead me
Oh, master, I have betrayed you but now you're next
Oh, master, you opened pandora's box as the hooves of a seldom horse start to thunder outside the walls of your kingdom
Oh, master, you hear the hooves outside the door and as the door flies open you see a horse encircled with your closest friends and guards
Oh, master, I pray for your soul to roam the heavens
Oh, master, please forgive me but you know you have to please me.
Oh, master, I'm the only one leaving here
Now the hooves grow further and further until they reach the horizon
Now as they go beyond the horizon they start running from sins they seen
In the dog house, it is silent
In the kingdom it is silent
No graves are dug no sympathy was given
All is just silent
