Six Words

Six Words

A Poem by Kpoh

Six Words

The eternal quest of man is this

To Recollect past conversations

Sweet musings of the Distant past

Dialoguing with He whom he was One

When as yet he remained unformed

Unable to pierce the Opaque fog of forgetfullness

He Demands from his soul images of remembrance

Alas he receives no relief

He is left, it appears

To his own devices

Throughout his journey on earth

man will forever Crave concord

With that which he remembers not

Yet knows in the deep recesses of his mind abides waiting

The Inelligence from which he burst forth

I am that I am

From whose Spoken word

All that exists outpoured immaculate

Very original! ^__^ I love the title, and the incorporation of the "six words", and why they are important in the life of man. Great use of symbolism & description, particularly "Unable to pierce the Opaque fog of forgetfullness". Beautiful!!!
