Clockwork

Clockwork

A Poem by mnicorata
"

I reviewed my life as clockwork and I also wanted to do a play-on-words type of deal.

"
The clock moves in slow motion
Carelessly I fight to see the illusion
Was it in my head or is it seclusion
To find my center past the delusion
Wrecked I find myself at the center
Falling through waves of distant matter
Fighting my way back across the platter
Till the end comes to, I’ll be the ladder
Used to be that I was the one
To be baking underneath the open sun
Then I finally through away the gun
To realize then that my life just begun
Then I saw my other me
Upon the tranquil open sea
Struggling to fight against the bee
Turning around, stunned, equally
