The Folding of Three (part IV of the Glare)

The Folding of Three (part IV of the Glare)

A Poem by mnicorata
"

The continuation.

"
As the breaking blackness of dusk rolls by
You can hear a distant chant of crashing waves
By law we should know where we stand
Beyond the reefs of solitary caves

Moving between the lines of reality and dream
We dare look upon our inner self to guide
Hidden within the grand marshes of a lake nearby
We do not dare to see what it is we hide

Beyond the gilded gates of fate
Lies a choice we must all partake
And through the dusty meadows of foliage
I can see what lies before me at the gate

A call into the wild my eyes diverge
And inside my heart tells me to send
A withered yet splendid young man sighs
The evening forever lasts and does not bend

A crack of the neck, a jolt up my spine
Ticks away the sands of time

And do I dare
I must prepare

For what is ahead of me
Whatever shall it be
