Corrosion

Corrosion

A Poem by mnicorata
"

Something I wrote describing my constant struggle and battle with my spirituality.

"
Tearing away at myself again
Of something that I thought
Heading out into the unknown
When derision comes to flaunt

Division seeps in at the cracks
As times ticks its precious sway
Noticing the confusion setting in
Mind numbly waiting the day

Separation tends to get the best
Of everything I do not remember
Cascading myself into the bliss
Doubting all that is in the blender

Then I look up to see in the dusk
A brilliant shadow comes unto me
I fight to break the illusions down
To settle in what was meant to be

But the meddling does not yield
Not even when I try to overcome
The watcher sits alone in the bay
A feeling that I get is lonesome

It is hard to break the coming night
When do so humbly, facing fright
Nightmares never break into light
Turning myself straight into blight

So I wish I could not burden myself
To see the ends that come ahead
Friction occurs when fogs roll inside
Constantly battling away into bed
