A little longer

As I peer into the looking glass,

Shreds of yesterday scanning fast.

Pray the present evaporate like a dream,

Those lost moments I want to redeem!

 

Every day every moment

I rehearse a life sincerely

A life as satisfying as then..

A life I loved so dearly…

 

Uninvited yet pleasing memories recast

As I crave to re-dwell over yonder.

Why did’nt it last……

Last a little longer!
