DAYS GO BY

Monday the begining of the week

wreary eyed and feeling weak

from the weekend, we all like most

of fun, laughter and that sunday roast.

 

Tuesday a day thats easily forgot

wishing it was better but is not

still dreaming from that weekend before

plus work's not helping and becoming a bore. 

 

Wednesday the middle of the week

where work is done at your peak

feeling alive and alert

Ready for any task and stop being inert

 

Thursday the day were nearly there

a sandwich, a apple and even a pear

Your belly full from all that food

but feeling great and in a good mood

 

Now fridays here, the begining of the weekend for some

but not for me till my work is done.

now work is over for me at last

hoping that this weekends a blast.

 

Weekend Yes its here at last

but in the blink of an eye its over fast.

Then back to work where duties are due

hoping that the week goes quick too.
