Shift

I need a big change;

a drastic,

an extreme,

a severe,

Experience.

 

I need an event, to shake things up;

make things a little less the same

of the monotinous, continuous day to day -

Everyday.

 

I need something new;

to be angry about,

to hate,

or to be excited for,

and look forward to,

Anything.

 

Something to get me thinking again.

Dreaming aloud again.

Desperately wanting again.

 

Let my thoughts breathe again.

 

I've spent so much time to idly contemplating

and trying to make something out of nothing.

Coming so close,

only to be left with the same aged routine.

 

I just need to know that this life is going somewhere.

And I think a nice collision with the unfamiliar is what

I

need.

wow, this is what i always say when i am static or bored!!
Most of the time, they say that necessity is the mother of invention...
but i say that this poem had given a new reason for invention... boredom and unproductivity. :)

well, this doesn't only cater to just 'boredom', but to anything, any force that drives people to change
this is a good writing. keep it up!
