But I can write it

It’s just the way I am

Can you accept me

For being this way

I’m an affectionate person

It’s the way I was raised

I’m not going to bite you

I’m not “in love” with you

You are wonderful

But please understand

I like to cuddle against people

For warmth and comfort

That’s where the feeling ends

So please

Don’t make me feel outcast

And let us just be friends

If I need to be coddled

I hope I can turn to you

I want nothing but friendship

Anything else is too much
