Steal From Me

Steal From Me

A Poem by Monday Parker

You give me nothing.

When I want so much more

I dreamt of you last night

I awoke tasting you on my lips

Feeling your fingertips lightly bushing over me

You plagued my thoughts

Every second of this day

But you gave me nothing

A quick glance and

A few words that left me

Hungry for more

So much more

What I desire --can never be

I understand that

Yet, you steal my dreams

My breathe

And little pieces of me.
