Down Hill

Down Hill

A Poem by Monday Parker
"

Watch your step...

"

I feel you

slipping down hill

down a hard road

that I am not

willing to walk down with you

I need you to open your eyes

To look

at what you will become

what you will lose

watch

because I wont be there to guide you.

I sense a urganancy in this piece.
trying to give warning and how frustrating it can be to only be able to stand back a watch, while the other chooses a different path. Very good write : )
