Stay

Stay

A Poem by Monday Parker
"

For the only one who matters.

"

You didn’t do anything wrong

You only stopped loving me

And I stayed loving you

With all of my heart

With every breath

I stay loving you

Even when you’re gone

Even when your loving someone new

I stay loving you.

the irony of loving someone is that "movin on" if they walk out becomes impossible...time may restore peace and heal the wounds but things are never the same..ever again...have been there...have felt this feeling that you have narrated in your words...just remember one thing dear poet..that sometimes its letting go of things that decides how strong you are...

Really feeling the intensity of emotions here-- and I like your creative use of the word "stay".

It's amazing how one's emotional
attachment is stronger then any
adhesive know to man...Yet we
still feel a bond for those who
are no longer here...
