Who Am I

Who Am I

A Poem by monike
"

A peom of me.

"

I am everything in faults,

And nothing in perfections,

I am a pillar of strenght,

Yet a coward in silence,

I am loved by few,

And hated by the most,

But the few can worth,

So much more in the end.

I am an image of seduction,

But more a picture of pioty,

I am new in my heart,

Old in my soul,

I am a puzzle of confusions,

While a portrait of simplicity,

As I am loved I have loved,

And just as much I am a hidden hatred.

I am here for all too see,

And yet no one takes notice,

I am conventional in thought,

But exentric in action,

I am a joy and a dispear,

A happiness to appreciate and a sadnessto forget,

But I am needs that need be met,

And desires whispered in blackness,

I am one thing and another,

I am hidden behind two truth,

A mirror of misunderstanding,

I am unknown.

Seems you are one complex lady! :-) I like this piece. There are many excellent lines in it, like:

"I am everything in faults,

And nothing in perfections"

I can relate to a lot of what you are saying. You do a great job of internal conflict and the conundrums that we (humans) often are

Great work
