Remember the Fallen

A poem written in honor of the men and women who severed the U.S.A. in any capacity.

Remember the Fallen

They went to protect us
They went to fight for us
They went for love of their country.
They came back to the sound
of
a twenty- one gun salute,
They came back to a loved one
 crying over a folded flag.
They came back, but they came back
dead.
Remember their sacrifice,
 Remember the fallen soldiers who watch
over us
 from the side of out Lord.
Do not let them be forgotten.
Remember,
Remember the fallen.
