The Night Love Died

The Night Love Died

A Poem by Moonbug
"

This is a poem about vampire lovers.

"

Cry your tears of blood
So I may lick them up
Like so much nectar from a flower.
The ambrosia in your eyes
Tastes so like saccharine I sigh
As I suck them dry with my dark power.

In blissful agony I weep
The tears of deafening defeat
To form black flowers, smelling sweet
But tasting sour,
And watching the moon light the night sky
You know you can't deny
You love me as you die
With smiles slashed upon your face at this dark hour.
