Him and Her

Him and Her

A Story by Ryoko Niwa

As midnight weeps,
Midday creeps onto the earth,
She fears,
The pain and cures,
He does not care.

Midday sits there,
In spite of her tears,
He smirks,
His quirky smile,
The pity clings here.

Days pass by,
Lightly taking in all that is right,
The heat flies to the sky,
And yet her mind is still not bright.

Consumed by worry and protectiveness,
He still could not rid of her,
Beauty beyond all feats,
The radiant eyes of sunlight,
Waves of stars within each strand of twilight,
Woven together by the “starts.”

 Midday, though, thought other,
She cried so hard,
The earth teetered,
The heavens shook,
The underworld quaked.

Her beloved knew,
So he could not slew,
This goddess of whom he loved.

She too had knowledge of so,
Of course her pain was low,
The great prince of dreams,
The silk white cream of hair,
The benevolent wings,
So bright and white!

Their hearts where true,
Golden with every time they met,
Not a single sorrow blue,
No longer is he cruel,
She too.

As our story ends,
Remember them well,
When upon a clear full moon night,
She will be there,
And during a cloudy midday,
The both shall say:
“Watching our children the elements is all we can do for all of you.”

Well, fare well for now,
Goodnight or Good-bye to all,
So long as you hear,
Yes, it is Fall.

I just thought of the relationship between God and Mother nature the first time I read this.
The font was exciting and big and blue, but it also somewhat is a hurt on the eyes!

But overall, this was a good piece. Keep it up!
