Ian's Word: Today

Ian's Word: Today

A Poem by motley poetry (special k)
"

I asked a few friend to pick a word to write a few poems off of.

"
Today I woke up with a woman in my bed with a fat a*s and her legs tangled in mine.
I made her coffee and I made tea.
I listened while she talked but I didn't hear a word she said because I was all I was thinking about was how much I know nothing about her.
It's not that I'm a bad listener, because I am.
But just by looking into her eyes and watching her lips spew a speech bubble saying that we weren't meant to be together.
Lust is a b***h.
She's greedy as f**k and this has nothing to do with luck.
Love is also kind of a c**t because the only thing good is watching the butterflies flutter until you realize that one day they will die.
But hey, my tea was good at least.
