You Judge Me

You Judge Me

A Poem by mikaykay

You don't know me
Yet still you judge me
You don't know half of what I've been through
But you judge me
You don't know that my mother died of an accidental suicide
You don't know that my father has never been by my side
But you judge me
You don't know the pain of being alone very single day
You don't know what it is for someone to leave as you beg them to stay
But you judge me
You don't know the pain of abuse
You don't know what it is like for your "family" to say that they will never love you
You still judge me
You don't know what it's like to give up your whole life, not because you want to, but because the doctors says you have too
You keep judging me
You don't understand what it's like and I don't expect you to understand
Why I have faith and trust that this is all part of God's plan
Regardless of the things that I have had to deal with
I will keep on fighting, I will refuse to quit
Because I was made more than a conqueror and I was made for such a time as this
I will stand up, and I will not back down
I will stand for what I believe in, I will take back ground
Ground that has been stolen from me
I will continue to fight from a place of victory
I will not fear for my God is with me
His love is never ending and his strength never wavering
He is omnipotent and he works on my behalf
He prepares a table before my enemies and he directs my path
