Merry Go Round of Life

The circle of life is a continous merry go round of experiences

There are important rules on the merry go round of life

Remember it is like rereading a book just to find some new thought or emotion that was missed the first go around

Each time the circle passes by you reach out to grab up a different part of you, a new friend, or a life lesson

It is our decision what we pick and choose most of the time from the circle

We have the choice to stop and smell the roses or the manure....it is our choice

You can't have one without the other but it is up to you to pick the timing

Some may choose to see only the bad and stop only on the uncomfortable, tough and worn out spots

Others glide past those with the grace of a ballet dancer flying thru the air

It is human nature to stumble occassionally, to get hung up on some stone or root that is in our path

The ability to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and learn from those trips and tribulations is a blessing

Everyone has the potential to do this, it is within ourselves no matter how deep, don't be scared to look

We all have to work hard to get things going but then this makes the ride so much more enjoyable

Smile and enjoy the feeling of the wind thru your hair and on your face as you spin faster and faster

Laugh hysterically and know it is ok to be dizzy sometimes

Remember the slow building moments in life are just as important as the wild crazy moments

There is always going to be a changing of partners, friends and family on your merry go round

Enjoy, learn from and cherish the experiences you have with all

Cry if the wind gets to strong but hold on tight to friends and family for they wont let you fall

And most important dont forget to wave crazily and show love openly to everyone as you pass by them

This is your merry go round of life

Your inspiring story covers many life lessons with clarity & compassion. I like the various analogies, like merry-go-round & ballet dancer, which help pump up the imagery in a message that could otherwise feel a little preachy perhaps. It's a great moment of maturity when we can accept all these different aspects of life. I especially relate to the part where you talk about changing of partners, friends, family. I wish I'd figured that out earlier in life.
