Something Special

By: Nick Workman

Baby, you amaze me

And I’m not talking maybe

You drive me crazy

Make my vision hazy

Whenever you kiss me

Feels like we’re making history

I carry on so blissfully

Knowing that you’re missing me

You’re the only girl on my mind

Ever since we met; all the time

A feeling blind and one of a kind

Consider this contract signed

Flash your smile my way

Please belive what I say

Because I don’t play and today

You steal my heart away

You know, as soon as I saw you

I froze there in my shoes

Gave me the chills through and through

I didn’t know what to do

But I was hoping you’d hold my hand

And eventually call me your man

I’ll be your number one fan

And give you as much of the world as I can

I can make you feel

Like nothing else is real

Like you’re such a big deal

Like, true love, for real

I’m genuine; I’m true

I’m so head over heels into you

And maybe I don’t have a clue

But I don’t need one; I got you
