“Magnifique Journée”

Jumping up and down feeling so happy,

The boys singing flawlessly, unimpaired.

In love with the songs, all of them catchy,

Zayn falling on stage as I laughed and stared.

I’ve dreamed about this day for so long,

I feel tears threatening to come out.

When it comes to One Direction emotionally I’m not strong,

I danced, sang, and screamed throughout.

As the concert started to end, I knew I’d never see them again,

But I knew I took many videos to watch weeks from now.

The screams of the fans were amazing but did give me a migraine,

I left the stadium and said ciao.

Grateful for that night I knew I’d never recover from,

I thanked the person who made it happen, my mum.
