Dreaming of you

It's basically about just wanting to have a child and experiencing infertility and the emotional turmoil that happens.

I imagine the color of your hair and the color of your eyes
I imagine if you'll have daddy's nose and mommy's smile
Then I remember it's all a dream
I remember you're not with me

I can picture your laugh
I can picture you cry
I can picture comforting you
By holding onto you tight

Then I remember it's all a dream
I remember you're not with me
The pain of losing you would be hard to bear
The pain of never having you is a curse I wear

Yet, I don't give up hope
I still wait for the day
When I get the results of that test
Telling us you're on the way

Until then
I'll close my eyes
I'll imagine the color of your hair and color of your eyes
I'll imagine if you have daddy's nose and my smile
