Angel

Angel

A Poem by Beaudyn
"

I awoke one night with some very vivid imagery. This is what I saw...

"

The summer wind blows east to west
A subtle breeze blows through her golden vest
Made of silk, satin, and twine
Wrapped around this angel of mine

Long, dark locks surround her face
Her eyes beckon for a sweet embrace
Lips soft and supple, the deep red of wine
Whispering softly, this angel of mine

Hands reach out to those who await
Entrance to her heart's locked gate
Don't give up, for in due time
She'll welcome love, this angel of mine
