Love Again?

Love Again?

A Poem by Beaudyn
"

Written... a long time ago, over an old old old flame.

"

Today I played a little game, I ignited a brand new flame.
I shot you deep within my veins, and now my life won't be the same.
You surged straight into my heart, and gave me a fresh new start.
Our love is like a work of art, and I never want to be apart.
A happy life is what you gave me, and this is the way it should always be.
Living in synchronicity, next to each other, blissfully.
I said, I want to be yours. To see you through when the rain pours.
To pull your baggage out of your drawers, to show you that this love endures.
So now I see us together, standing the test of time forever.
Reaching all that we endeavor, we won't fall through with the pull of a lever.
This relationship holds no trap door, and the only way for us to be sure,
Is to be constantly searching for more, and, for each other, maybe going to war.
Of course I'll defend the one I love, nothing else will ever come above.
The person here that I speak of, knows me the most, and fits me like a glove.
