Not a Stereotype

Not a Stereotype

A Poem by Beaudyn

To explain, it's complicated
I sometimes feel sedated
Totally unmotivated
And, at times, intoxicated

I think your thinking is outdated
And now that I've communicated
Perhaps you'll cease to hate it
And stop being segregated

I feel that it needs stated
That my actions aren't X-rated
And not at all related
To assumptions you've created

I get so irritated
With being judged and hated
It makes me so frustrated
Like I've just been extricated

Now that I've got you educated
Perhaps you'll understand
What goes on in MY life
That makes me a better man (er...WOman, of course ;) was going for the rhyme!)
