You're Gone

You're Gone

A by Michelle Raye
"

I'm not really sure what this is... Free, depressed, typing I guess...

"

Just days ago...

Under the eyes of the watchful sky...

Staring, were we, at the heavens above...

Taking in every second...

Inside our own little minds...

Never losing our dreams...

Could it be fate...

Oh, cruel fate that decided?

Maybe it's true...

Even they could be so cruel...

How could they take you away...

Oh, how can you be gone...

My heart is asking for those moments again...

Every moment we had used before to dream...

I can feel the sadness or depression drenched in this poem. One of those times when we ask "Why..?" Only to get a pitiful rely or none at all. I like how the emotion is conveyed. Great Work. :)

this has so much emotion. everyone hates goodbyes; this is something everyone experiences once in a while. very well done. i like the ellipses on the end instead of a period or no punctuation at all.
