What I'm thinking about
is this;
you and me
the memories, the experiences, the words

So much was shared
and so much was lost

Looking at the past
I still don't understand
what happened to us
I was happiest when you were the best
You're still the best
What happened to my happiness

I'll stop looking back
someday
because apathy feels better than pain

Losing you hurt me the most
more than so many other things

I don't need to understand
I just need my best friend
