Found Poem

A victim of venomous fate

My heart is in the right place

Gonna find another place

Maybe one that can be tolerated.

This background is black

this isn't a place in heaven's unearthly estate

Here comes some bad news

Give me all you got.

I'm now a prisoner

Wrapped in chains

Can't pray for a place to be safe

Life kicked me in the face

The pain was shared equally and fairly.

I should probably warn you

Don't waste your time

Because I can stand

Paying life's toll.

There is no category

no genre

no topic

and no label

I'll be just fine.

This is a pretty exciting poem with an interesting set up. I like the way you made your lines flow and chose very, I guess, action-y and description-y lyrics.
