It's just a poem that i felt like writing suddenly while listening to a song. This is the first poem i write outside of my own "journal". please leave comments. :)

I forget

Forget the warmth in your voice that I used to listen to every night

Forget the color of your eyes that was once printed in my heart

Forget the favorites of yours that I used to remember no matter what

Forget the smile of yours that I swore that I would never forget.

 

But why?

Why do I remember it all

when you appear

in front of me again

 

I tried hard

to stay away from you

I was almost there

and then

Your appearance ruined everything.

 

It takes me years to forget

but

It only takes one of you

to ruin it

and

make me remember it

OVER AGAIN

I like it a lot, I do.
although deep down I'm feeling dreadful.
because I'm at the "forgetting" stage your poem describes.
and I'm really hoping that seeing him again when school starts won't bring back all this chaos in my head.
