Falling Star

Falling Star

A Poem by TransparentHearts

At my windowsill to Him I pray

My heart out for him to stay

With us, with me, here at home

He left givin' me reason to write this poem

Gazing into the night I wish upon a star

Falling with grace lightyears afar

If God refuses my hope, my light

Maybe this angel in the night

Will reignite my wish into flame

Remembering everything to remain

Wish into existence and memory

That angel with wings silky and feathery

Saved my life and my heart

Preventing the shattering from the start

My angel among the nightly hues

Leaves me wishing for a future with me 'n you

My falling star, my angel from afar, my love
