STRANGER DANGER

STRANGER DANGER

A Poem by TravelMySoul

You type a word then it begins,
You type two more,
You type three,
You can't stop,
You type four,
Keep coming back,
Then they reply,
Make you feel,
Ask to chat,
It makes you stop. Makes you think.
'Me..? But.. I..'
'I shouldn't.."
But you did.
You're dependent now,
You can't see,
The evil lurking behind the screen,
And so you type you reveal you type
They learn they learn they laugh they learn,
And all is well and all is fine.
But then they ask,
All I want is a picture.. Maybe two.
And you think,
'Me..? But.. I..'
'I shouldn't.."
But you did.
So you click click click'd.
You made a scene.
Slabbered on red and pink and a shimmer of green,
And off they went!
Into the unknown,
And they smirk.
You don't know who you make smirk.
You make them smirk.
The pictures go by without a mention,
But soon..
Not too soon,
But soon,
They ask again,
They ask to meet,
Makes you ponder,
'Me..? But.. I..'
'I shouldn't.."
But you did.
And now,
Where did you go sweet child?
Why aren't you to be found?
You shouldn't have.
