He saw her smile

He saw her smile

A Story by n14n74

He saw her smile

She saw families eating icecreams together in garden below her apartments

sun was not being kind and making everyone's life diffcult during the day time

she closed her eyes

she was standing in her balcony holding the railings tightly

The moment she closed her eyes she could see the events of the past week unfolding before her closed eyes

she could see her dreams getting shattered

Her career going awry

she was getting misunderstood by every one.

Her friends were there but lately she had observed that she was getting distant from everyone

she had seen betrayal in all close relations

but she had her strength backing her throughout her life

some thing in her never let her down

she had never been dependent on others.

Her mom and dad were at their workplace

She craved some family time

lately she did not enjoy going out for movies or hanging out with her friends. Her friends did not know about fight that she was fighting. So she did not feel connected

Because of all negativity her attitude towards life changed

she forgot how to smile

She could not find the zeal in her that was usually present

Her weakness was winning against her strengths

she used to discuss stuff with her friends, but she did not know how to explain them her feelings

she was feeling hopeless, empty and hollow

she was feeling unwanted, alone and she was scared

For her friends she was a nerd who was into her books all the time

Her close friends knew that she loved fun.But lately they had observed that she was becoming more and more guarded

it had been 2 years since she had decided to let him go and do the"right" thing

she imagined his presence. How this situation had been different with his presence

he would have just held her hand. And everything would have been alright

And her mind would have given her the solution

It would have shown her the correct way.

She knew she did not need to justify herself to others as long as she knew she was right

she will have to accept that she was a lone child of parents who did not love each other and that her house will never become her "cocoon" where she can feel secure

some relations are not meant to be mended

Being daughter of working parents she will have to learn to let go of family time

She can see the atmosphere change

the sky was getting darker

the clouds were gathering

as the rain drops touched her hand

they reminded her of his touch some how,she felt his presence

her mind gave her the solution

it was to fight

despite all odds

everyone can succeed in easy situation

those who an win despite the odds are the real heroes

she smiled as if she had already won

and she had

400 km apart a guy prayed to God to never let her be weak

He was missing her every day but something in him wanted to pray today for her

he could not be with her but he wanted her to be strong without him.he knew she could be

he imagined holding her hand

he prayed to God to be with her

his wife called him for dinner

Next day brought hope for her

rain had stopped

the sun was shining again

sun rays reached her room

it was time to let go of people who had no place in her life

it was time to accept the reality of her family and make peace with that fact

It was time to work harder than ever and make life worth living

she saw a girl smiling while looking at mirror

He opened his eyes in the morning

In his dream he saw her smile
