Borderline

Borderline

A Poem by riley marie

comfortably

chapped lips pursed in thought

rhythms of sound from the speakers

to mask deniable realities

there is trembling of shame

no other option exists

shaking hands lifting the poision

alive and living wrong

alive and living right

different perspectives

the music doesn't speak

silence surrounds the body

something is terrifyng

liqour mixes with the bile

the flesh becomes warm

this is only way she lives

comfortably
