In the quiet place

Silent is the Word

Bringing you God’s Grace

 

In the quiet hours

Feel the peace within

The voice heard empowers

And your faith begins

 

Calming is the voice

Speaking of the love

Called to make a choice

Silent whispers from above

 

Flutter in the heart

Quiet as a dove

Feel the grace impart

Through a voice of love

 

Set your heart ablaze

Hear and rejoice

Give God the praise

For His Still Small Voice

This poem won First Place with a $100.00 Prize. The Theme of the Contest was the Quietest Thing I could think of. Who's voice is as quiet as The Still Small Voice of God.
