On Heaven's Shore

 

All these lifted arms linked together

These numberless feet treading so close!

Standing in the aisle singing of God’s love

Saints full of faith singing praises up above

 

Yes, their earthly life has ended … but

They still sing on and on

Down the aisles before the Throne

They are the budding seeds God has sown

 

From the Master’s hands into the good rich soil

They grew among the weeds … that

Were tossed away into the flames … but

Remaining faithful, they called upon God’s name

 

Now in heavenly robes, they sing on and on

Alleluia praises to their Savior and King

With lifted arm linked in one voice

They make a joyful noise

 

I have seen the future and it’s not too late

To join in and sing with the angel choir

Lift your voices now and call upon God’s name

For and eternity with Jesus, away from Hell’s flame
