Haiku Throw Caution to the Wind

Haiku Throw Caution to the Wind

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Haiku Throw Caution to the Wind

I fear the unknown

Doubt myself in troubled times

Oh where’s my courage

When storm clouds blow in

I’m lost in a sea of doubt

Too much caution here

Caution sometimes good

But not if it holds us back

Cast it on the breeze

I whisper a prayer

I throw caution to the wind

Lay my burdens down

In my darkest hour

I am walking without fear

Jesus by my side
