Hay (na) ku Pantomime

Hay (na) ku Pantomime

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Hay(na)ku Pantomime

Pantomime

Painted face

Wears white gloves

Gestures

Without words

Majestic movements here

Movements

Like charades

Tells a story

Pantomimes

On streets

Captures the moment

Unique

Exotic moves

Makes you smile

Pantomimes are mesmerizing

Children find

Delightful

Black, white, red

Dress uniquely

Attire

Voice not heard

Silence face

Speaks

Silent painted face

Attention-grabber

Thrilling

New York Streets

Pantomime gestures

Expressions
