TO BE

to be or not to be
both at the same time
invisible feeling see through
but still visibly alive
wondering when
wondering how
this dilemma ends
and half of it dissolves
i am my own person
most of the time
while still being owned
in many different ways
shaped and formed
through language, culture and what i call home
by the people who surround me
and make me feel whole
am i a reflection of them
or are they a reflection of me
symbyosis a relationship
with advantages for both sides
i give and i take
what my soul needs
but what i ache for
is written down
