Forbidden Love

Forbidden Love

A Poem by natalia4
"

this is a poem that i wrote for my uncle and anyone else out there who is afraid to be themselves with love.

"

Forbidden love thrown in the dark

Fed on by the fire of those unwilling to understand

Genetics or background

No one can knows how it started

Time will tell once the hate has parted

But feelings harness equal concentration no matter direction

And everyone deserves happiness despite their selection

It is the fault of no one, rather nature’s choice

There isn’t a person with the ability to silence your voice

I can’t promise that there won’t be those who try

All I can say is never let them see you cry

You tears are worthy, every single one

They will rain down until this oppression is done

The pain will end, of this I’m sure

After the smoke clears will you see the open door
