Let There Be Light

Let There Be Light

A Poem by Deepshikha
"

Why let your mind sit idle?

"
Sit on a bed,
sipping your wine,
waste nights away,
death by the mine.

Clicking at keys,
focused on you,
no life outside,
drinking no dew.

Waiting for suns,
passing time by,
nothing to do,
tears as you cry.

Maybe it might,
why don't you know,
sitting around,
nothing can flow.

Let there be light!
illuminate,
no fruitless minds,
no love; no hate.

Sitting around,
nowhere to go,
let there be light,
and let it show.
