Cactus

Cactus

A Poem by Mirabel Gibson

Hello, Cactus
So sharp
So green
In every needle I see a gleam
That gleam of hope
Someone will prick
A finger
A twinge of pain
A tinge of delight for Cactus
It's orange
Pink
Yellow
Flower
The only beauty of its kind
Hello, Cactus
