Who knows what the future brings

Wishes, travels, stars and things

And who really knows "where the wild things are"

Or if its Thing 1 or Thing 2 that needs to borrow your car

Sometimes we go up

And sometimes we go down

But on occasion we go sideways

With neither a smile nor a frown

So if you ever find yourself 

Moving sideways

Lost on highways

Going up or down

Smiles or frowns

Going backwards in your car

Or even wearing stripes behind bars

Just turn

And look

I'll be there

Holding my bag of wishes and stars
