Shimmering Bodies

Shimmering Bodies

A Poem by Neal S

The night
Crisp
Starry bodies shimmer in the heavens
Shes there
The same night blankets the same trees
The same faces
I no longer love her
The infinite night
Those shimmering bodies
Wind swelling
Words swept away before reaching her ears
Infinite night
Shimmering bodies
