Wallstreet Vets

Wallstreet Vets

A Poem by Jacob B.

Wall-street bankers buy about,
while vets are left to lie about.

In there big houses with all the cars,
in the streets with all the dogs.

Healthy and loved,
Sick and disowned.

Filling up land for new buildings like malls,
filling up grocery carts for shelter tonight.

The ones with no cares in the world,
the ones who no one cares about in the world.
